OHLC stands for Open, High, Low and Close, the four prices that every candlestick is built from.
Explained simply
The open is the first traded price of the period and the close is the last. The high and the low are the highest and lowest prices reached in between.
The body of a candle runs from the open to the close. The wicks stretch up to the high and down to the low. If the close is above the open the candle is bullish, and if it is below the open the candle is bearish.
The close matters most. A level only counts as broken when a candle closes beyond it, not when a wick pokes through.
